What is the true nature of desire? And how do our desires define our entire existence? Stupid Fucking Bird is a hilarious and heart-breaking contemporary reimagining of Anton Chekhov’s The Seagull. SFB updates Chekhov's characters to stage the timeless battle between young and old, past and present, art and artifice, through a blend of music, irreverence, and metatheatrics.
Stupid Fucking Bird was the singular Second Stage production in Gonzaga University's season. The show featured an all-student cast, as well as an all-student creative team.
